I cant connect to there web site also. I know i am still connected to the internet and a firewall isnt blocking the program. I have to remove it to get back online, I have tried to install other free antivirus programs to and have the same problem. This problem happened when i updated the older version of avg. Now it's become bigger, with more functions and turned into Internet Security Suite. For my Pentium-III based PC, it is too resource hungry.
